How to Play Ninedex
A quick guide to get you started.

Objective

The goal is simple: be the player with the highest score when the game ends. Your score is determined by the cards on your personal game board.

Your Board & Score

Each player has a board with two columns for placing cards:

  • Tens Place (Left Column): The value of the top card here is multiplied by 10.
  • Ones Place (Right Column): The value of the top card here is added to the total.

For example, if you have a '7' card in your tens place and a '3' in your ones place, your score is 73.

Game Flow

  1. Setup: Each player starts with one card.
  2. Drawing: On your turn, you automatically draw from the deck until you have two cards in your hand.
  3. Playing a Card: You must choose one of the two cards in your hand to play. Place it on top of either your tens or ones column.
  4. Activating Effects: As soon as you play a card, its special effect triggers. These effects are the core of the game's strategy! Read them carefully.

Ending the Game

The game ends when two conditions are met:

  • The draw pile is empty.
  • All players have only one (or zero) cards left in their hand.

At this point, final scores are calculated, and the player with the highest score is declared the winner!
